A new place to relax has opened in Naniwanomiya Park! Six cafes and shops!
A new place to relax has been born at Naniwamiyaato Park! Enjoy a relaxing weekend at "Nanoniwa" Park
The other day, my friend and I went to a We visited Nanoniwa Park, a shopping center that just opened in the northern part of Naniwanomiya Park ! It is located right next to Osaka Castle, the NHK Building, and the hotel called Partina Osaka, which is scheduled to open in May 2025. It is a noteworthy spot that was born at the intersection of history and modernity.

Nanoniwa Park has 13 unique stores. There are especially many cafes, with six in total! We were surprised at the wide variety of stores, including hamburger restaurants, international cuisine restaurants, conveyor belt sushi restaurants, yakiniku restaurants, natto restaurants, and wine restaurants.
There are many cafes participating, including "OSAKA COFFEE Parks" and "Sunny Side," the green "SULK GREEN CAFE," the pancake cafe "MICASADECO THE PARK," "Parfait de Merrily," "DAIBAN COFFEE," and many more. Other interesting shops include "※710 GARDEN" serving natto, wine restaurant "RAIN DROP," international cuisine restaurant "THE PORT," craft beer restaurant "BREWPUB TETARD VALLEE," hamburger restaurant "Craft Burger co.", yakiniku restaurant "Naniwa Yakiniku Saburo," and "Daiki Suisan Kaiten Sushi."

We visited on a weekend, and the first thing that caught our eye when we entered the facility was the vast lawn area that spread out before us! This is one of the main features of Nano Niwa Park. There is a large space where you can lie down or have a picnic or spend your time however you like.
Taking advantage of this wonderful location, many of the restaurants within the facility offer a wide range of take-out options, so you can bring out what you buy in the park and enjoy a picnic on the grass.

The facility also has a food court-like atmosphere, so you can buy what you like from each store and enjoy it together in the same area. Being able to choose food from different stores and share it with friends, or enjoying a variety of flavors at once, is a way of enjoying yourself that is unique to Nanoniwa Park.
This time, we decided to drop by "SULK GREEN CAFE," which we had been particularly interested in. As the name suggests, the interior of the cafe is filled with greenery, creating a relaxing space that makes you feel like you're in a botanical garden. We enjoyed the slow, relaxing time while sipping delicious coffee. It was like we were able to relieve the fatigue of our daily lives.

"Naniwa Palace Ruins Park" is a historical site where Naniwa Palace is said to have been located from the Asuka to Nara periods. "Nanoniwa" Park, located on the northern side of this vast park, is a wonderful place where you can feel the history while also enjoying modern food and relaxation.

It feels like the options for how to spend a weekend have greatly expanded; you can enjoy a picnic with delicious takeout food in a historic space, relax in a cafe, or sample a variety of cuisines all at once.

Nanoniwa Park is likely to become even more lively in the future, in cooperation with surrounding facilities such as Osaka Castle, the NHK Building, and new hotels. I would definitely like to visit again and try the food at other restaurants!
